Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Crestwood in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Public Administration and Safety (315 females or 24.8%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (267 females or 21.0%)
  • Retail Trade (129 females or 10.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 711 females in total or 55.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Queanbeyan employed 26.9% in Public Administration and Safety; 18.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.4% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Crestwood and Queanbeyan were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed in health care and social assistance (21.0% compared to 18.4%)
