Dominant groups
Analysis of individual income levels in Central Perth (East) in 2021 compared to the City of Perth shows that there was a higher proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 26.4% of the population earned a high income, and 18.2% earned a low income, compared with 20.4% and 26.2% respectively for the City of Perth.
The major differences between Central Perth (East)'s individual incomes and the City of Perth's individual incomes were:
