Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Emu Heights in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (208 females or 25.2%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (206 females or 25.0%)
- Community and Personal Service Workers (178 females or 21.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 592 females in total or 71.8% of the employed female resident population.
In comparison, St Marys employed 17.0% in Professionals; 23.7% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 19.1% in Community and Personal Service Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Emu Heights and St Marys were:
- A larger percentage of females employed as Professionals (25.2% compared to 17.0%)
- A larger percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (21.6% compared to 19.1%)
