Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Leonay in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (178 people or 13.4%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (163 people or 12.3%)
  • Education and Training (155 people or 11.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 496 people in total or 37.5% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Penrith City employed 12.0% in Construction; 13.2% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 8.0% in Education and Training.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Leonay and Penrith City were:
