Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Colyton in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (437 people or 12.6%)
  • Retail Trade (382 people or 11.0%)
  • Construction (369 people or 10.6%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,188 people in total or 34.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Emu Heights employed 13.6% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 7.9% in Retail Trade; and 13.7% in Construction.
