Dominant groups

Analysis of the females in the City of Parramatta in 2021 compared to New South Wales - Total females shows that there was a similar proportion of people in the younger age groups (under 15) and a lower proportion of people in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.8% of the females were aged between 0 and 14, and 13.5% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 17.5% and 18.6% respectively for New South Wales - Total females.

The major differences between the five year age groups of females in the City of Parramatta and New South Wales - Total females were:
