Dominant groups
Analysis of the country of birth of the Chinese languages speaking population in the City of Parramatta in 2021 compared to Greater Sydney shows that there was a similar proportion of people born overseas.
Overall, 78.3% of the Chinese languages speaking population was born overseas, compared with 78.4% for Greater Sydney.
The major differences between the countries of birth of the Chinese languages speaking population in the City of Parramatta and Greater Sydney were:
