Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in North Rocks in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (422 females or 21.5%)
  • Education and Training (323 females or 16.4%)
  • Retail Trade (216 females or 11.0%)

In combination, these three industries employed 961 females in total or 48.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Dundas Ward employed 22.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 12.7% in Education and Training; and 9.2% in Retail Trade.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of North Rocks and Dundas Ward were:
