Dominant groups
Analysis of the household/family types of recent arrivals in the City of Parramatta shows that there was a lower proportion of recent arrivals in couple families with child(ren) as well as a lower proportion in one-parent families compared to [Parameter].[BMACOIIDLabel] in 2016. Overall, 49.0% of recent arrivals were in couple families with child(ren) and 4.7% were in one-parent families, compared with 52.4% and 11.5% respectively for [Parameter].[BMACOIIDLabel].
There were a lower proportion of recent arrivals in lone person households and a higher proportion in couples without children.
