Analysis of female individual income levels in the Southern District in 2021 compared to Morphett Vale (West) shows that there was a higher proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a lower proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 3.5% of the female population earned a high income, and 40.0% earned a low income, compared with 1.8% and 43.7% respectively for Morphett Vale (West).
