Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in Aldinga Beach in 2021 compared to the City of Onkaparinga shows that there was a similar proportion of step families as well as a similar proportion of blended families. Overall, 9.4% of total couple families with children were step families, and 8.5% were blended families, compared with 9.1% and 5.4% respectively for the City of Onkaparinga.
