Dominant groups

Analysis of the household/family types in Growth LGAs in WA in 2021 compared to Redland City shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 35.0% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 12.2% were one-parent families, compared with 31.8% and 11.3% respectively for Redland City .
