Analysis of the need for assistance of people in the National Growth Areas Alliance (NGAA) compared to City of Wanneroo shows that there was a higher proportion of people who reported needing assistance with core activities.
Overall, 4.3% of the population reported needing assistance with core activities, compared with 3.5% for City of Wanneroo .
The major differences in the age groups reporting a need for assistance in Camden Council and City of Wanneroo were:
- A larger percentage of persons aged 80 to 84 (29.0% compared to 24.9%)
- A larger percentage of persons aged 75 to 79 (19.3% compared to 15.2%)
