Analysis of the housing tenure of households of Georgetown in 2021 compared to Newcastle East shows that there was a similar proportion of households who owned their dwelling; a larger proportion purchasing their dwelling; and a smaller proportion who were renters.
Overall, 26.6% of households owned their dwelling; 41.2% were purchasing, and 28.4% were renting, compared with 26.9%, 14.1% and 45.7% respectively for Newcastle East.
