Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Kotara in 2016 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (514 people or 27.1%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (282 people or 14.8%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (275 people or 14.5%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,071 people in total or 56.4% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, The Junction employed 38.3% in Professionals; 11.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 9.3% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
