Dominant groups
Analysis of female individual income levels in the Shire of Murray in 2021 compared to Peel Region shows that there was a similar proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 4.6% of the female population earned a high income, and 46.2% earned a low income, compared with 4.7% and 45.3% respectively for Peel Region.
There were no major differences between Shire of Murray and Peel Region in 2021.
