Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Macclesfield and District in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (107 males or 20.4%)
  • Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (66 males or 12.6%)
  • Manufacturing (44 males or 8.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 217 males in total or 41.4% of the total employed male resident population.
