Dominant groups
Analysis of the family blending in Nairne and District in 2021 compared to Greater Mount Barker shows that there was a similar proportion of step families as well as a similar proportion of blended families. Overall, 6.5% of total couple families with children were step families, and 4.0% were blended families, compared with 7.0% and 4.7% respectively for Greater Mount Barker.
