Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Mornington in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Technicians and Trades Workers (1,420 males or 25.7%)
  • Managers (1,080 males or 19.6%)
  • Professionals (908 males or 16.4%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 3,408 males in total or 61.7% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, Rosebud - Capel Sound - McCrae - Boneo - Fingal - Cape Schanck employed 31.5% in Technicians and Trades Workers; 14.6% in Managers; and 12.6% in Professionals.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Mornington and Rosebud - Capel Sound - McCrae - Boneo - Fingal - Cape Schanck were:
