Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Milleara (N) in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (405 males or 15.7%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (237 males or 9.2%)
  • Manufacturing (235 males or 9.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 877 males in total or 34.0% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Keilor East employed 17.9% in Construction; 9.2% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 7.7% in Manufacturing.
