Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Essendon West in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Education and Training (68 females or 16.5%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (66 females or 16.0%)
  • Retail Trade (47 females or 11.4%)

In combination, these three industries employed 181 females in total or 43.8% of the total employed female resident population.
