Dominant groups

Analysis of female individual income levels in Airport West in 2021 compared to Niddrie shows that there was a lower proportion of females earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) and a higher proportion of low income females (those earning less than $500 per week).

Overall, 9.8% of the female population earned a high income, and 36.3% earned a low income, compared with 11.7% and 33.6% respectively for Niddrie.

The major differences between Airport West's female individual incomes and Niddrie's female individual incomes were:

  • A larger percentage of females who earned $400 - $499 (9.7% compared to 8.0%)
  • A larger percentage of females who earned $300 - $399 (8.8% compared to 7.2%)
