Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Greek speaking resident population in City of Merri-bek in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (621 people or 23.9%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (458 people or 17.6%)
- Managers (381 people or 14.6%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,460 people in total or 56.1% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Greater Melbourne employed 22.2% in Professionals; 16.7% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 15.6% in Managers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the Greek speaking population of the City of Merri-bek and Greater Melbourne were:
