Dominant groups

Analysis of the car ownership of Spanish speakers in the City of Merri-bek in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that 87.4% were in households that owned at least one car, while 12.1% did not, compared with 88.6% and 10.5% respectively in Greater Melbourne.

Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion owned just one car; a smaller proportion owned two cars; and a smaller proportion that owned three cars or more.
