Analysis of the household/family types in Coburg in 2021 compared to Brunswick West shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a higher proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 28.9% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 8.9% were one-parent families, compared with 19.9% and 6.5% respectively for Brunswick West.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 24.5% compared to 36.9% in Brunswick West while the proportion of couples without children was 24.3% compared to 22.5% in Brunswick West.
