Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Italian speaking resident population in City of Melville in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Professionals (167 people or 26.5%)
- Managers (131 people or 20.8%)
- Clerical and Administrative Workers (94 people or 14.9%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 392 people in total or 62.2% of the employed resident population.
In comparison, Greater Perth employed 18.9% in Professionals; 14.8% in Managers; and 14.1% in Clerical and Administrative Workers.
The major differences between the jobs held by the Italian speaking population of the City of Melville and Greater Perth were:
