In 2016, dwellings with 4 bedrooms were the most common amongst recent arrivals in the City of Melton.

Analysis of the number of bedrooms in dwellings for recent arrivals in the City of Melton shows that there was a lower proportion of recent arrivals in dwellings with 1 or 2 bedrooms, and a similar proportion in dwellings with 4 or more bedrooms compared to the the total population in 2016.
Overall, 2.4% of recent arrivals were in 1 or 2 bedroom dwellings, and 65.3% in 4 or more bedroom dwellings, compared with 3.2% and 65.7% for the total population respectively.
