Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Croydon North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (485 females or 22.7%)
  • Education and Training (317 females or 14.8%)
  • Retail Trade (262 females or 12.2%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,064 females in total or 49.7% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Ringwood Metropolitan Activity Centre employed 23.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.7% in Education and Training; and 11.1% in Retail Trade.
