Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Ringwood North in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (601 females or 24.3%)
  • Education and Training (402 females or 16.2%)
  • Retail Trade (259 females or 10.5%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,262 females in total or 50.9% of the total employed female resident population.

In comparison, Ringwood Metropolitan Activity Centre employed 23.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 11.7% in Education and Training; and 11.1% in Retail Trade.
