Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Marino in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (191 people or 16.7%)
  • Education and Training (137 people or 12.0%)
  • Construction (124 people or 10.9%)

In combination, these three industries employed 452 people in total or 39.6% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Greater Adelaide employed 17.1% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 9.0% in Education and Training; and 8.4% in Construction.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Marino and Greater Adelaide were:
