Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in West Footscray in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (952 males or 28.9%)
  • Managers (512 males or 15.6%)
  • Technicians and Trades Workers (499 males or 15.2%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,963 males in total or 59.6% of the employed male resident population.

In comparison, the City of Maribyrnong employed 29.4% in Professionals; 16.0% in Managers; and 13.9% in Technicians and Trades Workers.
