Dominant groups
The size of Manningham City Council's Arabic speaking labour force in 2021 was 1,163 persons, of which 347 were employed part-time and 655 were full time workers.
Analysis of the employment status (as a percentage of the labour force) of Arabic speakers in Manningham City Council in 2021 compared to Greater Melbourne shows that there was a higher proportion in employment, and a lower proportion unemployed. Overall, 91.7% of the Arabic speaking labour force was employed, and 5.3% unemployed, compared with 87.5% and 6.7% respectively for Greater Melbourne.
Analysis of the Arabic speaking labour force participation rate of the population in Manningham City Council in 2021 shows that there was a higher proportion in the labour force (60.0%) compared with Greater Melbourne (50.8%).
