There were more female clerical and administrative workers in Division 10 in 2021 than any other occupation.

Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Division 10 in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (1,615 females or 24.7%)
  • Professionals (1,516 females or 23.2%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (1,052 females or 16.1%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 4,183 females in total or 64.0% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Bahrs Scrub - Wolffdene - Belivah employed 23.9% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 21.4% in Professionals; and 17.5% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Division 10 and Bahrs Scrub - Wolffdene - Belivah were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Professionals (23.2% compared to 21.4%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Community and Personal Service Workers (16.1% compared to 17.5%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (1.7% compared to 3.1%)
  • A smaller percentage of females employed as Labourers (6.1% compared to 7.3%)

Emerging groups

The number of employed females in Division 10 increased by 827 between 2006 and 2021.

The largest changes in the occupations of female residents between 2006 and 2021 in Division 10 were for those employed as:

  • Professionals (+553 females)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (+325 females)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (-139 females)
  • Sales Workers (-134 females)
