Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Logan Central in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Manufacturing (246 people or 14.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (234 people or 13.5%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (158 people or 9.1%)

In combination, these three industries employed 638 people in total or 36.9% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, Beenleigh employed 10.6% in Manufacturing; 13.0% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 5.5% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing.

The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Logan Central and Beenleigh were:

  • A larger percentage of persons employed in transport, postal and warehousing (9.1% compared to 5.5%)
