Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population in City of Logan in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:
- Total employed persons aged 15+ (4,490 people or 100.0%)
- Labourers (711 people or 15.8%)
- Technicians and Trades Workers (681 people or 15.2%)
In combination these three occupations accounted for 5,882 people in total or 131.0% of the employed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander resident population.
The major differences between the occupations held by the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population of Logan City and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander of South East Queensland were:
- A larger percentage of people employed as Machinery Operators And Drivers (12.5% compared to 8.2%)
