Analysis of the ancestry responses of the population in Kingston in 2021 shows that the top five ancestries nominated were:
- English (4,017 people or 27.5%)
- Australian (3,702 people or 25.4%)
- Australian Aboriginal (1,000 people or 6.8%)
- Scottish (846 people or 5.8%)
- Samoan (840 people or 5.8%)
In combination these five ancestries account for 10,405 responses in total, or 71.26% of all responses.
