Dominant groups
An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in Lockyer Valley Regional Council in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:
- Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (2,440 people or 13.6%)
- Health Care and Social Assistance (2,012 people or 11.2%)
- Education and Training (1,551 people or 8.6%)
In combination, these three industries employed 6,003 people in total or 33.4% of the total employed resident population.
In comparison, Withcott and District employed 3.5% in Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing; 14.4% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 10.8% in Education and Training.
The major differences between the jobs held by the population of Lockyer Valley Regional Council and Withcott and District were:
