Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Gatton (North) in 2021 compared to Rural South shows that 86.3% of the households owned at least one car, while 7.0% did not, compared with 90.8% and 0.9% respectively in Rural South.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a larger proportion who owned just one car; a smaller proportion who owned two cars; and a smaller proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 38.6% of the households owned one car; 29.6% owned two cars; and 18.1% owned three cars or more, compared with 18.6%; 33.7% and 38.5% respectively for Rural South.
