Dominant groups
Analysis of individual income levels in Rural North West in 2021 compared to Emu Park shows that there was a lower proportion of people earning a high income (those earning $2,000 per week or more) as well as a lower proportion of low income people (those earning less than $500 per week).
Overall, 7.1% of the population earned a high income, and 20.2% earned a low income, compared with 9.8% and 38.4% respectively for Emu Park.
The major differences between Rural North West's individual incomes and Emu Park's individual incomes were:
- A smaller percentage of persons who earned $300 - $399 (4.8% compared to 12.1%)
- A smaller percentage of persons who earned $500 - $649 (3.6% compared to 9.7%)
- A smaller percentage of persons who earned $400 - $499 (4.9% compared to 10.9%)
- A smaller percentage of persons who earned $650 - $799 (4.1% compared to 8.4%)
