Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in West Pymble in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (437 people or 16.2%)
  • Health Care and Social Assistance (386 people or 14.3%)
  • Education and Training (289 people or 10.7%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,112 people in total or 41.3% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, North Wahroonga employed 17.3% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; 13.3% in Health Care and Social Assistance; and 9.6% in Education and Training.
