Analysis of car ownership in 2021, indicates 64% of households in Wahroonga had access to two or more motor vehicles, compared to 38% in City of Ryde.

Analysis of the car ownership of the households in Wahroonga in 2021 compared to City of Ryde shows that 94.6% of the households owned at least one car, while 3.2% did not, compared with 83.8% and 12.2% respectively in City of Ryde.
Of those that owned at least one vehicle, there was a smaller proportion who owned just one car; a larger proportion who owned two cars; and a larger proportion who owned three cars or more.
Overall, 30.9% of the households owned one car; 43.0% owned two cars; and 20.7% owned three cars or more, compared with 45.9%; 27.6% and 10.3% respectively for City of Ryde.
