Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in North Ward in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Professionals (859 females or 29.7%)
  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (681 females or 23.6%)
  • Community and Personal Service Workers (401 females or 13.9%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 1,941 females in total or 67.2% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Maida Vale employed 21.8% in Professionals; 27.8% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; and 15.1% in Community and Personal Service Workers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of North Ward and Maida Vale were:

  • A larger percentage of females employed as Professionals (29.7% compared to 21.8%)
