Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the resident population in High Wycombe in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Health Care and Social Assistance (702 people or 11.3%)
  • Transport, Postal and Warehousing (600 people or 9.6%)
  • Retail Trade (581 people or 9.3%)

In combination, these three industries employed 1,883 people in total or 30.2% of the total employed resident population.

In comparison, the City of Kalamunda employed 11.8% in Health Care and Social Assistance; 7.5% in Transport, Postal and Warehousing; and 8.7% in Retail Trade.
