Analysis of the household/family types in Croydon in 2021 compared to Lilyfield shows that there was a higher proportion of couple families with child(ren) as well as a similar proportion of one-parent families. Overall, 34.6% of total families were couple families with child(ren), and 9.3% were one-parent families, compared with 33.7% and 9.0% respectively for Lilyfield.
There were a lower proportion of lone person households and a higher proportion of couples without children. Overall, the proportion of lone person households was 24.6% compared to 26.4% in Lilyfield while the proportion of couples without children was 23.9% compared to 21.6% in Lilyfield.
