Dominant groups
Analysis of the language used at home by the population of Epping North in 2021 compared to Berowra Heights - North Eastern Rural shows that there was a smaller proportion of people who used English only, and a larger proportion of those using a non-English language (either exclusively, or in addition to English).
Overall, 65.0% of the population used English only, and 33.5% used a non-English language, compared with 89.1% and 9.1% respectively for Berowra Heights - North Eastern Rural.
The dominant language used at home, other than English, in Epping North was Mandarin, with 9.4% of the population, or 438 people using this language at home.
