Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the male resident population in Dural in 2021 shows the three most popular industry sectors were:

  • Construction (201 males or 14.2%)
  • Professional, Scientific and Technical Services (190 males or 13.4%)
  • Financial and Insurance Services (110 males or 7.8%)

In combination, these three industries employed 501 males in total or 35.4% of the total employed male resident population.

In comparison, Hornsby Shire employed 10.5% in Construction; 15.9% in Professional, Scientific and Technical Services; and 9.0% in Financial and Insurance Services.

The major differences between the jobs held by the male population of Dural and Hornsby Shire were:
