Dominant groups

Analysis of the male five year age groups of the Harvey District in 2021 compared to the Shire of Harvey shows that there was a lower proportion of males in the younger age groups (under 15) and a higher proportion of males in the older age groups (65+).

Overall, 17.7% of the male population was aged between 0 and 15, and 20.6% were aged 65 years and over, compared with 22.2% and 16.7% respectively for the Shire of Harvey.
