Dominant groups

Analysis of the qualifications of the male population in Division 11 in 2021 compared to Gold Coast City shows that there was a higher proportion of males holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), and a similar proportion of males with no formal qualifications.

Overall, 58.3% of the male population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 34.1% had no qualifications, compared with 56.5% and 34.5% respectively for Gold Coast City.

The major differences between qualifications held by the male population of Division 11 and Gold Coast City were:
