Dominant groups
Analysis of the qualifications of the population in Division 06 in 2021 compared to Clear Island Waters shows that there was a lower proportion of people holding formal qualifications (Bachelor or higher degree; Advanced Diploma or Diploma; or Vocational qualifications), as well as a lower proportion of people with no formal qualifications.
Overall, 53.5% of the population aged 15 and over held educational qualifications, and 34.4% had no qualifications, compared with 54.3% and 36.2% respectively for Clear Island Waters.
The major differences between qualifications held by the population of Division 06 and Clear Island Waters were:
- A larger percentage of persons with Vocational qualifications (17.6% compared to 15.7%)
- A smaller percentage of persons with Bachelor or Higher degrees (25.0% compared to 27.8%)
- A smaller percentage of persons with No qualifications (34.4% compared to 36.2%)
