Dominant groups

An analysis of the jobs held by the female resident population in Hope Island in 2021 shows the three most popular occupations were:

  • Clerical and Administrative Workers (780 females or 23.9%)
  • Professionals (742 females or 22.8%)
  • Managers (515 females or 15.8%)

In combination these three occupations accounted for 2,037 females in total or 62.5% of the employed female resident population.

In comparison, Gold Coast City employed 20.2% in Clerical and Administrative Workers; 23.9% in Professionals; and 10.6% in Managers.

The major differences between the jobs held by the female population of Hope Island and Gold Coast City were:
